Name: Christian Joseph Whitney
Gender: Male
Age: Thirty
Job: Writer
Habitat: Christian lives in a small, arguably decrepit studio apartment in Montmartre within view of the Moulin Rouge. The apartment occupies a portion of a floor near the top of the building with access to the roof via a large picture window, which is quite possibly the most exciting and aesthetic aspect of the space. The building is, quite literally, falling apart from wear and, most probably, lack of repair. The stucco style walls are pasty in color and littered with cracks and stains caused by who knows what from years past accompanied by a musty odor that stuck to the entire room. The floor boards match the exposed ceiling beams in that they are both wooden and warped in the center. The ceiling was especially bad with prominent bowing in the center of each beam. It was a wonder that objects didn't break right through from the apartment above. The apartment was quite empty seeing as Christian had very few possessions. A lumpy mattress laid sans frame on the floor across from a simple wooden desk. Atop the desk was the only material thing Christian owned that had any real value: his typewriter. Unfortunately, no manuscripts were anywhere in sight, just a trashcan overflowing with crumpled pieces of paper. It's clearly not anyone's idea of paradise, but Christian doesn't mind.
