No New Posts Courtyard

When you enter the Moulin Rouge, you do not at first enter into a room. You walk through the doors, and enter a courtyard. In here is the location to the entrance to the ballroom, an entrance to a hallway that is for staff only, and the Elephant. The Elephant stands in the middle of the courtyard. Many people like to go out into the courtyard after dancing to cool off and breath away from the humidity of the dancefloor.

No New Posts The Ballroom

After the courtyard you meet two large doors, finely decorated in red paint and golden hilights. You push open the doors, and see a wide dancefloor, with booths lining both the left and right side. In the front, opposite the doors, you see a stage, with an orchestra set up behind it. There is a balcony up above it, which is reserved for staff, people who are with the staff, and other important guests.

Behind the scenes are mazes of dressing rooms, trap doors, secret entrances to the stage, and management offices. In order to go back here you must be staff, or an important guest.

No New Posts The Elephant

The Elephant is a room elevated above the courtyard, and is similar to that of a fort. This room is for the star of the show. Only her, her guests, and her managers can come up here. It is in the shape of an elephant only to add decoration and greet those who come into the courtyard.
